General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It is around usual time period of 6-8 weeks for complete recovery from such procedures of bone spur surgery, but still an individual recovery depends upon multiple parameters and same has to be discussed with your orthopedic surgeon before commencing weight lifting.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Purva Patel, General & Family Physician
