How Long Do Muscle Spasms Around The Coccyx Take To Subside And Heal?
i hav pain in lower back near tailbone. Have difficulty walking as pain is so bad. Pain radiates from buttocks to right side near waist. Dr said it is muscle spasyms. I have been taking Flexeral for 6 dayd with only minimal improvement. How long does it take to improve?
As by reading the history I feel you need to undergo an MRI of the lumbar spine. as this will help us to show any soft tissue changes. Since the pain you mentioned about radiating pain there may be a possibility of nerve impingement. Post MRI, you may be advised to undergo physical therapy. As it will help to reduce the pain and also improve the strength in muscles .
in my clinical practice I see cases with back pathologies and as per me now you need an MRI of lumbar spine and then a physical therapy for optimum recovery.
