How Long Do Spots From Lichen Planus Infection Take To Fade?

i have lichen planus for almost 6 months now. The itching has subsided now and there are now new marks coming. But the treatment has left dark brown marks all over. Do these marks fade away gradually . Is there a chance that they stay back permanently.

Hi,

Lichen planus is a benign autoimmune skin disease of unknown cause. It may run a long course or might clear in short period. It may relapse. Stress might precipitate the disease. Minor trauma can induce the new lesions. After control of disease, pigmentation may take long time to clear. So, do not worry...ok
