How Long Do Steroids Stay In The Body?
Hello I was diagnosed with transverse myelitis in July 2016 and the had me on steroids till september2016. Now how long will the steroid stay in my body. Also I was blessed I;m not crippled anymore I walk with a cane and take everything alittle slower in life

steroids are of various types. and different steroids have different half lives.
depending on the half life, steroids remain in your body.
for eg- a steroid having half life of 24 hours will stay in your body fr 48 hours.
howeever, my advice is to continue your treatment for transverse myelitis without any interruption because this disease needs lifelong treatment and if you skip the treatment it will only worsen with time.
