How Long Do Steroids Stay In The System?
My 19 year old daughter was given a steroid injection on 8/14 for bad case of poison ivy. We are wondering when the steroids should be out of her system. She is experiencing extreme anxiety, agitation, and irrational thoughts. The urgent care Dr. said the injection contained a fast acting and long acting steroid. Thanks for your help

Steroid is a widely prescribed and used drug and he anxiety and other symptoms are absolutely not related to steroid use. If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.
