How Long Do Traces Of Hydrocodone, Acetaminophen And Carisprodol Last In Body?

Hello...I have 2 questions. I have a prescription for Hydrocodone-Acetaminophen 5-300 and Carisprodol 350mg For 3 herniated discs. My questions are, how long before they are out of my system, and would either make me fail a drug test? I am a sanitation worker (non-driver) and just want to make sure i m doing things correctly. Thank you.

You will have a positive drug test from the hydrocodone. It takes several days to get out of your system. If you are sent for a drug test, inform the lab that you are taking prescription drugs and what they are. That way if the test comes back positive, they will already know you were taking a legal prescription and will be expecting the abnormality. Doing this will help you avoid further problems should the results be positive. Let them know what medicines you had been taking, even if it's been several days since you last took them. Hope this helps.
