How Long Do Withdrawal Effects Of Xanax Last?
I,vet reduced my Xanax both extended and immediate dosages with my psychiatrist. I woke up this morning with an anxiety attack. I understand there is a rebound effect from Xanax. How long does the withdrawal Systems last. I was taking the medication for sleep.

It really depends upon how long you have been taking it and the dosage. If you have been taking it for years at a high dose, you would need a very long slow taper off to avoid withdrawal.
I have had to taper patients off over a year in some cases. If you are having withdrawal symptoms like tremors, then the taper off may have been too fast.
