I get a lot of itching on my legs....I find topical creams don t give me too much relief...instead if I take Atarax that helps...even if I take one pill I get relief for about a week...should I be taking more than one to get lasting relief....how many do you think I should take?

Hii...
Atarax is an anti-allergy drug that relieves itching temporarily. It is usually given twice daily for about a week depending on the severity of the itching. the dose you are taking now should be good enough if it is relieving your problem.. there is no need of increasing the dose, instead i would suggest you to consult a physician to find out the reason behind the itching so that u can get a permanent solution for it. hope this helped you. Do not hesitate to ask me in case if u have more doubts.
