How Long Does Biaxin Take To Leave The System?
How long does Biaxin take to leave your system? My boyfriend had extremely bad side effects sp he stopped taking it. He has fever, nausea and bad abdominal pain ehich is causing him to not be able to eat or drink much because it hurts his stomach everytime he swallows days it feels like he s being punched in the stomach. Symptoms started 1 day after starting to take it for strep throat. Already had 10 days of amoxicilin.

The half life of this drug is 5-7 hours, which means that it may need up to 35 hours to get completely away from the body. In the meantime, I would recommend taking Pantoprazole and Buscopan for the stomach and abdominal pain.
