How Long Does Clotrimazole And Nystatin Take To Treat Yeast Infection Under Breast?
I went in to see a dr 4 days ago because I had a yeast infection under my breast. The dr did confirm this. She precribed clotrimazole and also nystatin. How long does it take for these meds to take affect? The rash is now twice as big as it was from when I went in four days ago.
Thank you for sharing your query on Healthcaremagic, I have carefully worked through your case and I recommend you previous to the clotrimazole cream you should be apply a sodium bicarbonate ( baking soda ) compresses 3-4 times a day 15-20 minutes ( 1Lt steril or boiled water + 1 tablespoon baking soda) when the lesions get dry you start aply the clotrimazole cream as your doctor prescribed, never apply the cream on a wet lesions, if the lesions persist I advice you taking a blood sugar test. I hope that my advice has been helpful, take care
