How Long Does Exemestane Take To Treat Joint Pain?
I have been on Femara for three years post breast cancer and was severe joint pain. My doctor changed me to Exemestane 2 weeks ago in hopes I would see improvement. So far, I m not any better. How long do you think it will take to see improvement in my joint pain, or do you think it will be better at all?
HI Well come to HCM Your concern will be appreciated, but let me tell you that "Exemestane" is not the analgesic medicine and it may not help in joints pain if it is the matter of concern, and for the joint pain you can try NSAID (Non-steroid Anti-inflammatory drug) like Tab Ibuprofen, with the history of malignancy underlying cause of pain of joint would demand the investigations, as long as the chemotherapy is concern it need to be discussed with "Oncologist", take care.
