How Long Does Keflex Stay In The Body?
Which antibiotic stays in the system longer. I take Keflex ..3 daily for an infection from hip replacement and Dr. says no cure for it so that is why I take Kelflex. Dr. mentioned that he can change antibiotic so only 2 a day so I am wondering which antibiotic that might be. I didn t want to change due to maybe new one may not agree with my stomach.

The maximum duration this drugs remains in the body is 5.5 to 6 hours.
However, one may require to shift the antibiotic if the healing process is delayed and WBC counts are not coming down.
