Your symptoms are indicative of wound infection or infection at the implant & hence you have a rash, fever, pain/discomfort & swelling.
You are suggested to visit ER and get a follow-up treatment done. Get physically examined by your surgeon. You may need some medical aid like intravenous fluids & antibiotics, drainage or debridement, etc.
Do not get overweight, stay at rest, if diabetic maintain your sugar levels to normal for quicker healing. Stay away from addictions if any.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
