My mother was prescribed Monurol - a one time dose - for a bladder infection. How long does this stay in her system? Also, she is extremely sensitive to medications. She usually takes Macrodantin for bladder infections but a substitute doctor ordered Monurol. She just fell last month and I am concerned this will make her dizzy. She also has colitis and worries about nausea and diarrhea. I m concerned she will not tolerate this medication and then it is in her system for a long time. Thank you!
