How Long Does Morphine Remain In The System For Drug Test?
I had a bad case of the flu and am over it but I could not keep my prescribed morphine down. I can finally take my 30ER tomorrow and if tested I want it back in my system. My appt. is at 1:00pm. When should I start it in the morning so it is in me like it should be? Thank you! Bobbe
Morphine takes around 30 minutes to one hour to reach its therapeutic blood level when taken orally. Then it may stay in good concentration in the blood for some hours. Generally, it is fully out of the system 2-3 days after the dose. So, you can take it anytime in the morning, as long as it is at least one hour before your consultation.
I hope this answers your query. I remain at your disposal in case further medical assistance is needed.
