Hi my name is Debbie I'm an other woman in search for answers to my questions, Will you be able to help with this information. I'm on morphine sulf er 15 mg tablets and take them 3 times a day, can you tell me how long it lasts in your system?,,Also is there a drug test that can be taken to see if its in your system?, If so can you please help me to get answers to my questions correctly due to the fact i have been on line for hours searching for these answers...PLEASE HELP ME,,,,Thank you,,Debbie

They last as long as they feel like they are working. At the time that they stop working, the blood level is declining. The morphine can still be detected in the urine after that.

The time the urine level of morphine is detectable depends on several features starting with how closely the lab is checking it.

There are considerable genetic differences in how fast people metabolize morphine. But, generally, it is detectable in the urine for about 5 days.
