How Long Does Nicotine Stay In The Body?

Hi, so I have a hair follicle test sometime towards the middle to the end of May. I am concerned. I don t smoke everyday, I suppose you could say occasional. I ve probably smoked a total of 4 times since January with the most recent being last Friday. I am an African American with a very fast metabolism about 6 0 tall and 155 Lbs. Will I be ok by the time the test comes?

Hello,

Nicotine is commonly detectable in your urine after 3 to 4 days of stopping tobacco products. You can use detox shampoos and detox pills to test negative. In chronic nicotine users, nicotine can be detected for up to 12 months. Nicotine leaves the blood within 1 to 3 days after you stop using tobacco.

To pass the test take kiwi, it stocks up on vitamin C levels but also helps in eliminating nicotine from the body. You can eat kiwi as a snack, have kiwi smoothie to keep your body well hydrated. Drink water to release nicotine from the biood. Do exercise to increase your body's metabolism rate, which may lead you to clear nicotine faster.

Eat antioxidant rich foods. Take vegetables., kiwi, orange, carrot, broccoli. If you are eating the correct food, doing exercises and staying active, its likely that you may pass the hair follicle test.
