How Long Does Ovex Remain In Body?

ive just taken ovex for threadworms but did not read until after taking it that its not meant to be taken whie breast feeding how long will this drug stay in my sytem before I can put baby back to breast my husband has bought some formula but I have one very unhappy 8 week old baby

Ovex (mebendazole) is not recommended during lactation because it is unknown whether it is secreted in breast milk.
For your question on how long will a single dose remains, it will be approximately around 15-30 hours. I would not recommend abstaining breastfeeding for more than a day.
