side effect of prolong use of steroid has started. for stopping steroid you have to tapper it down. have to use low steroid con taint dexamethasone.noway you have to dis continue steroid for some time. have to balance between use of steroid and its side effect. in your case itis indispensable chloroquine and hydroxy chloroquin can be tryid. imunosupresive drugs can be started. it is a mild disease some time it stops its progress without treatment.
