How Long Does Simvastatin Stay In The Blood Stream?
my 92 yr old dad just went off simvastatin, how long will it take to get out of his system and how long before we should notice a change in energy level etc. if it was causing side effects?? he was taking 20 mg tab at bedtime and has been on it for many many years. Thank you

Tab simvastatin (20) is taken for dyslipidemia. If your father has that, then this tablet should be taken once daily, regularlt to maintain blood cholesterol levels.
