How Long Does Toprol Take To Manage Heart Rate?
My heart rate is running between 120 and 150 at rest...I am on Toprol 25 mg a day...I was instructed to take a 1/2 a pill of Toprol if my heart rate exceeds 100...I took 1/2 about an hour ago but it hasn t changed...it s still high...what do you suggest? Judy

thank you for the concern. if your heart rate is still high after taking toprol than you have to consult your physician and adjust the dosage of toprol or may change the medicine but under the strict guidance of your physician. thank you
