How Long Does Urifast Take To Cure E Coli Infection In Urine?
Dear Sir, I am taking urifast 100 mg morning evening since last five days for e coli infection in urine , e coli presence 0000cfu/ml . But there is no notable improvement . Would you pl. suggest me normally how much time it takes to see the improvement.This medicine is sensitive to E coli

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have UTI and the causative organisms is E-Coli .You have been taking Nitrofurantoin as per culture report since five days .
It takes 10 days to see the results with this drugs .
You may add taking Cifotaxime or Ciprofloxacin along with Urifast to get desirable results earlier.
Ensure to drink more water.To keep your urine dilute This will help to control dysuria.
