How Long Does Valium Stay In The System?

I am going through job process, I take valium sometimes because I am having trouble to sleep, how long does valium stay in my system ,( taken Blood test ) I am athletic I workout 5 days a week , high metabolism body ? thank very much for your assistance

Valium is a long acting benzodiazepine used for many clinical conditions but less commonly to treat insomnia (lack of sleep) because of the side effects like drowsiness, abuse potential, and long duration of action. For the treatment of insomnia a shorter acting benzodiazpine like Alprazolam is more preferred.
Valium gets metabolized in liver to one active compound which has a longer duration of action. Both the valium and its active metabolite produce longer duration of action, their elimination from the blood may take upto 100 hours.
