How Long Does A Bruise From Wasp Sting Take To Heal?

I got stung by a wasp 2 days ago. It swelled up more than usual but went down before I went to sleep the first night. Now my arm is very bruised around the puncture site. The bruise is quite large but does not hurt. How long should I wait for the bruise to go away?

Hello

Thank you for the query.

The bruise is a sign of immune system responce to the wasp bite. Usually it takes few days or a week for such swelling to go away.
Bruise can be present for even 3 weeks.
You may use some antiinflammatory cream and lukewarm compresses to improve the healing.

Regards
