How Long Does A Morning After Pill Protect Against Unwanted Pregnancy?

I had a abortion at 14weeks 5 days, 2 weeks after the abortion I had unprotected Sex and I took the morning after pill but the following day I had unprotected sex again, I m worried I might be pregnant again and haven t done a pregnancy test, just wondering how long after a abortion should i get my period and if it is a thing I am pregnant how soon after the first abortion am I able to have another one? Thanks

It varies, but certainly at least a month. It depends a bit on the type of abortion but if the uterus is healed enough to get pregnant it is healed enough to have a low risk chemical abortion that is not that much different than a morning after pill (which should work for 2 days at least).
