How Long Does A Systemic Candida Yeast Infection Take To Heal?
I got fungal infection on my penis about one and half month back then I applied jock itch cream clotrimazole cream USP 1% then it went away. From then on I have been cleaning my penis twice every day but after one and half month I got it again. I have been applying the same cream since past 3 days it almost went away. How long should I apply the cream for the infection not to come back.
Advice 1. Keep applying clotrimazole cream every 8 hours for 15 days 2. Fluconazole 150 mg weekly per oral for 4 weeks – total 4 doses 3. Keep your groin area clean and dry 4. Trim hairs of groin region as it causes sweating 5. You can use ketoconazole dusting powder also 6. Do not scratch 7. Take high protein diet such as eggs and cheese to boost immunity 8. Investigation – blood sugar (F & PP) Thanks
