How Long Does A Transient Ischemic Attack Take To Get Cured?
I had went to the hospital last night. I thought that I was having a stroke some thing was not right. They did all the test STORKE the doctor said I probably had a TIA because I was not speech correctly but it said it should get better in a few days? I wonder how it usually takes for everything back to normal. I need to back in normal on the 28th of June so I can get ready for chemo!

If a TIA then there shouldn't be a need for a cure. The word transitory means that the symptoms have completely disappeared and on brain imaging there is no evidence of an ischemic lesion (stroke). Not that it shouldn't be dealt lightly, it should be investigates just as if a stroke had happened in order to determine the origin and take preventive treatment to avoid a stroke happening in the future
So in theory there is no need to cure a TIA, only prevention of others in the future. If you are still having persisting symptoms then either a stroke has occurred or if that has been definitely excluded by imaging then it is not a TIA (it is difficult to be sure about TIA diagnosis at times, there are other issues which may mimic its symptoms).
