How Long Does An I-Pill Remain Effective?

I am 19 years old. I had my period on 30th october and i had unprotected sex on 6th november and took an ipill on 7th november.I started to bleed unexpectedly on 14th november and i had unprotected sex on the same day again.Should i take another ipill?

Yes you need to take another pill but also see your obgyn for the unexpected bleed in between cycles.

It could be due to the hormonal imbalance caused by the contraceptive pill but needs to be checked out.

I recommend :
-an obgyn consult
-a pelvic ultrasound
-blood tests (complete blood count, clotting profile, hormone tests- thyroid)

Based on these we can arrive at a diagnosis. Hope this helps.
