How Long Does Azithromycin Take To Treat Chlamydia?
Hello, I am male, 31, generally healthy. I took Azithromycin 1000mg today to treat suspected chlamydia, symptoms being a discharge of transparent liquid for the past 2 weeks or so. I also got tested today for STDs, but took the medication already in any case. I have a couple of questions:
- how long before I should see some results (for example no discharge)? Doctor said it takes 7 days to cure the infection.
- is it normal that after taking the azithromycin, the burning sensation after urinating seems to have increased slightly?
