How Long Does Bleeding Take Place After An Abortion?

Hi, I made a huge mistake which i am now paying for, I had a abortion on the 1st aug @ 12 weeks some bleeding nothing compared to how I felt mentally, 2 weeks after I stood up to get a glass of water and there was so much blood everywhere not a lot of pain just loads of blood when to hospital determined POC so they then on 18/08 did a EPC i have tested no pregnant but i am bleeding more than on the first procedure, also this is fresh bright red blood. I want to know how long until the bleeding stops its a constant reminder and ground hog day. also when i will get a period ? can i then assume my periods will go back to there normal rhythm ? this was the worst decision we have made the only good think i can draw from it is we both now know what we want, so would I still be extra fertile after 1st period ?

As per my clinical experience, the severe vaginal bleeding after procedure of medical abortion indicates issue of arterial bleed most likely rather than activity of getting up for taking glass of water. It is not normal to get severe hemorrhage type bleed at a period of 2 weeks and you have to get precise medical attention for this.

You need prescription of trenaxemic acid and ethamsylate; a look sonogram for pelvis to check for residual blood clots responsible for bleeding or any fresh bleeder. Sometimes, an active bleeder do require cauterisation or fulgeration through laser procedure as well.
