How Long Does Broken Wrists Take To Heal?

Hi, I broke my wrist at the end of February. Well the state of Michigan didn t get my insurance to me for 45 days. So I was not able to get the follow up on. I was in my cast for 8 weeks. When I did get in I was told my wrist had re broke and healed out of alignment. I could have surgery or physical therapy. I didn t know what to do. Anyway I was told to try physical therapy, so I tried looking for a physical therapy office that would take my insurance with no luck. In the meantime. I was told that I had to move because I couldn t afford to pay my rent. I found a place. I was trying to find work and a new doctor. I couldn t find a job because I really don t have much use of my wrist. Then was having trouble finding a new doctor and to top that off the place that I had moved to tired out to be one huge mistake. I was one day away from being homeless when a friend saved me. So now I am still with this wrist messed up looking for a doctor and not having much luck. I am 52 I need my life and wrist back. I don t know what the long term damage is going to be it has been 6 months now. What is the damage going to be now and how can I get or find a good doctor that can help me. I am so confused at this point. All the jobs I know involve the use of this wrist. Can you please give me some advice on a doctor and what the damage all this might have caused. I don t want to To a doctor that will f it up more than it is already. Thank you, Pamela
