How Long Does It Take For Implanon To Get Out Of Body?
Hi, I recently switched from Implanon to Viorele, and mean reason for th switch was due to irrgular prolong bleeding, bleeding off and on for about 7monthes stright. I had the Implanon taken out about two to three weeks, and been having unprotected sex after having a week of no brith control. I was wondering about how long till Implanon hormones leave my system and Viorele kicks in?

Hormonal birth control normally kicks in on an average of 7 days. For the first seven days, additional contraception should be used.
The viorele would be reducing your chance of contraception after that time period.
