How Long Does It Take For Wellbutrin To Take Effect?
I take wellbutrin then stop cold turkey for 5 weeks went even worse depression then I got back on it how long to take effect again it seem to me slowing got better but it took 2 1/2 weeks it that a normal time frame or does it very for diffirent body types male 54 yrs 180weight
Many antidepressants take a couple of weeks or even a month to achieve their full effects. It could vary some for different people because of the way they process the medicine. Some people may metabolize it very fast so it may take longer to achieve a good level. The time frame you report is within an expected range. Check with your doctor next time you want to get off- some antidepressants need to be tapered down in dose over time to avoid withdrawal symptoms or rebound depression. Hope this helps.
