How Long Does It Take For My Throat To Look Normal Again?
hello,i was diagnosed with granulat pharyngitis and prescribed a course of antibiotics (augmentin) for 10 days. My throat feels better but the structures that are characteristic of the "granular" type ar still there. how long does it take for my throat to look normal again?

Hello
the granular appearance in your throat is due to enlargement of lymph follicles and will take time to subside , mostly 3-4 months , however you will not need antibiotics till then , you can just continue gargling with warm salt water till the time it settles down.
