How Long Does It Take For The Steroids To Get Out Of System?

How long does it take for the steroids to get out of the system? I am 46 years old. I had three steroid injections in my neck and ever since I am not well. Everything is swallen including my head my face my muscles all over my body. I get headache as soon as i am on my feet and pain everyvhere. I had them 5 months ago. Thank you so much.

Hi,

Though different steroids have different half lives but none stays in system for this much period though side effects like Cushing's syndrome etc., may be a sequel of steroids overuse and the swelling etc you mentioned can be part of it so you should get an endocrinologist review for further work up.
