How Long Does It Take To Cure Depression?
My Mother is been given medication of nexito 5mg from last 1 month and is been asked to increase the dosage to 10 mg from this month and also doctor has added one more medicine rizdone 0.5mg. She suffer from the problem of depression and mood swing. How long will it take for her to improve.

Geriatric depression usually takes time to improve. Few patients get improvement in one month and few take more, rest depends upon the severity of illness. In your mother case, carry on with escitalopram 10mg with risperidone 0.5 mg as advise. In case, you need further help, you can ask.
