How Long Does It Take To Get Paxil Out Of System?

Hello, I was prescribed paxil, but was too afraid to take it. I was prescribed 20mg tablets. I took two doses, one on one day, and another on the next. I did not like the side effects, so I stopped taking them. I was wondering, how long it would take for it to be out of my system completely, and was wondering if I will have any kind of withdrawal symptoms. Thank you for your time.

These antidepressants take at least 4 weeks to start their effect. I is not good to stop your medication all of a sudden. You need yo taper the dose or switch on to a better alternative before stopping the drug. I would advice you to consult your Doctor before taking any decision.
