How Long Does It Take To Get Periods After Discontinuation Of Duphaston?

I am currently on treatment for secondary infertility and my doctor suggested me to take Duphaston from 18th day to 27th day(1 tab/day). My menstrual cycle is of 28 days. According to my doctor, she said that taking Duphaston will strengthen the walls of the uterus if there is any fertilization and when I stop DUphaston and if I dont get my period after 5 days I can go for a pregnancy test. How long will it take for me to get the periods after stopping the tablet? My period and ovulation cycle are absolutely perfect.

Welcome to HCM.once the tablet stopped,the progesterone hormone level comes down if you are not pregnant.Then with in a week period after stoppage of tablet,you will have periods.Take care.
