How Long Does It Take To Recover From Chemotherapy For Breast Cancer?
How long does it generally take to recover from chemotherapy? It has been five weeks since my last round of T/C (had 4). Radiation to start tomorrow for triple neg breast cancer. I so want to feel normal again. I am 55. This time last year I felt and looked ten years younger. Today I feel ten years older. If I beat the cancer, will I always feel this way.
Hello dear. The weakness from chemo usually last 6 weeks or so. But as you are having radiation also, it will also cause some lethargy, but you need not worry. Once all treatment is over , you will be fit in a few weeks. So take your treatment and dont feel low. Take care regards
hi madam. it's really good to know that you have completed the chemotherapy. it usually take 3 weeks to recover from its side effects, but it may take few more days depending on the individuals' body habbits. good diet and healthy mental state are the crux for early recovery. there are side effects of radiotherapy also, but less than that of chemotherapy. I think u will tolerate it also very well. next year you will be looking younger definitely.
