Hello,

Platinum-containing chemo agents are notorious for vomiting and nausea.
It will last for five to seven days post infusion. You can use potent antiemetics like domeperidone or ondansreron to prevent vomiting,
Avoid spicy foods as it might exacerbates the symptoms.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
