I feel backward and hit my head and passed out. I think I hit a handle on a cabinet and now have a pain about the size of the handle. Swelling at time of fall but I put ice on it immediately. No blood or swelling now just pain. I had had surgery on my foot and taken a pain pill without food. I would assume the back of my head is bruised and nothing I can do. How long should this take for the pain to leave? No other symptoms except, of course, pain in my neck and shoulder also.
