How Long Does Recovery From Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever Take?
I have been diagnosed with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever, I sought treatment after 3 days of first symptoms. I was prescribed doxycycline and was briefly put on ab IV with it. I now take it orally. Generally how long does the treatment last and what is the time frame for returning to normal ?

As your treatment started after 3 days, there is no need to worry. Patients should be treated for at least 3 days after the fever subsides and until there is evidence of clinical improvement. Standard duration of treatment is 7-14 days.
