Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I read all about tinnitus and may have it. I was exposed to a very loud noise on Sep. 15 for a few hours. I woke up on Sep. 16 with ringing in my ears. On Sep. 20, at night, it was unbearably loud (dumb me exposed the ears to more noise that day). I did go to sleep and it was just noise in my ears when I awoke the next morning. At very brief times, the noise stops in one ear. Right now, I have a low noise in both ears and again at times, very briefly, an ear with be quiet. Is there any hope that the noise will go away completely?

good thing is dat it is decreasing and completely gone in one ear for some time in between .. if there is no defect of hearing in any ear ...donot worry ...it will cure ...for time being u may take tab neurokind plus once a day for a few days as it is sensineural damage by high volume noise ...and u need neurotonic...but if there is hearing problem ...u have to go to ENT for nerve conduction study
