How Long Does Sickness Last After Co-codamol Overdose?
my son was discharged from hospital last night, he was admitted because he tried to commit suicide with an overdose of co-codamol, Ibuprofen and hayfever tablets. He still feels sick, but the hospital didn't give any advice on how long this sickness will last, and also, how long he should take off work?

The overdose would likely damage his liver but since he was discharged from the hospital, that damage shouldn't be permanent. It may take up to three months for his liver to recover and he should be off work for about two weeks
