How Long Does The Cigarette Effect Stay In Blood And Urine?
i have gastric bypass surgery coming up in sept/oct of this year, at my consultation my doc said that she was going to do a nicotine test a month before my surgery. If my last cigarette was on may 22 will i pass a blood or urine test? i am 322pds, 5"9" i have diabetis and hbp
Yes. A month is a LONG time for the test to stay positive. Bad news, the lung effects will START to be improving in 3-6 months after quitting. If you want to improve your lung functions faster, exercise them (results in 2-4 weeks) using incentive spirometry as if you were doing weight lifting.
