Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Usually first period after pregnancy occurs after 6-7 months if you are active breast feeder. But if you don't do breast feeding, your periods do happen early (2-3 months after delivery). So you are Infact late as far as period commencement is concerned. This is mostly due to hormonal imbalance. So better to consult gynecologist and get done clinical examination and hormone levels. You may need hormone pills to regulate hormones. Once your hormones are normalize, you will be alright.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
