How Long Is Hospital Stay Necessary After Fitting Stents?

Hi my father is to be addmited into hospiral to have three stents fitted as at 82 years old as the consultant recons his age and fittness rule out heart bypas how long can i expect him to be in hospital as i have to travel from hampshire to glasgow 450miles to assist with travel and assistance

After going through through your query i would like to tell you that post ANGIOPLASTY (deploying stents) if everything goes normally the patient can be discharged within 24-48 hrs after procedure.
