How Long Is Taking Zocef Advisable For Fever In Children?
hello, My daughter had fever from 4th April and in 1st week her fever was in the range of 101-102 and later on with medicine came down but after 5 days doctor advised for some test and her CRP test range came 21.4 , typhoid , malaria came fine. after that doctor gave some Antibiotic but she was getting fever twice or thrice a day in range of 100. After week of Antibotic doctor change the medicine and advice Zocef, we continued Zocef for 5 days and she was fine, but when we stop the medicine after a day she got fever of 100 again. Pls advice
Decreasing intensity of fever indicates that the underlying inflammation is under gradual control. Appearance of fever suggests that it is not totally recovered. Your baby requires follow up with pediatrician to change the antibiotic molecule to another group or continue the same in further duration of course as per the clinical decision.
