How Long It Takes To Conceive After Discontinuing Contraceptive?

Hi 2 months ago i came off Micronor, as me and my partner are going to try for a baby. I am just wanting to no afew things: 1- How long will it take for my body to go back to normal? 2- I have been on the contraceptive for 10+ years now will that affect anything? 3- how will i calculate my fertile time? thanks amanda

Below are the answers for your questions.

1.Once you are off pills your body gets back to normal in few days time. You can try for conception in the first month after stopping contraceptive pills.

2. Being on contraception for ten plus years is not going to affect your fertility.

3.To calculate your fertile time i need to know whether your menstrual cycles are regular and the duration of cycles. The guide to calculate fertile period is,
The shortest cycle duration -18 days= first day of fertile period
Longest cycle duration -10 days = last day of fertile period
The best way to increase chances of your pregnancy are to have regular intercourse at least three times in a week. There is no need to concentrate on fertile period.
