How Long Post Left Inguinal Hernia Surgery Can A Person Masturbate?

I recently got left inguinal hernia surgery, 3 days after surgery, and I have been able to walk but still feel pressure. I thought it would be a good idea to masturbate, but i stopped during masturbation when I noticed a fluid bulge happening at the shaft of my penis... Is this normal?

As per my clinical experience, the inguinal hernia repair surgery requires certain precautions to be followed for certain time frame. In my clinics, after surgery of inguinal hernia repair, I do recommend not to masturbate for a period of 3 weeks or more. As the masturbation will stimulate the pelvic nerves passing closely to the operative field, any undue pressure over penis root or shaft can harm the operative part which is just lateral to the root of penis.
